With Gateway DataWorkS, you can view a variety of reports — including daily transactions, detailed trade or transaction reports and open order confirmations — which you can then import into a spreadsheet or database, or use to update your internal systems.

Gateway DataWorkS provides files in these formats:

Data files — You can receive ASCII comma-delimited files containing information on trades, transactions and security positions, along with client profiles, names and addresses. Captools and dbCAMS+ have developed interfaces using these data files for our RBC Dain CS correspondents to assist in the transfer of information into their programs.

Advent Axys®, interface files — If you've purchased Advent's Axys portfolio management software, you will also see the interface files with your data files. Centerpiece® has also developed an interface that will use these Advent Axys files.

Print files — Gateway DataWorkS offers print files of five reports: Customer Confirmations and Open Order Notices, Moneyline Report, Security Inventory Reports, Bookkeeping Journal and Daily FC Commission Analysis. These reports are all formatted as Adobe® Acrobat® (*.pdf) files.
